Dave Watson, Executive Managing Director
Dave has over 30 years of experience in management, sales, and operations; 13 of which were dedicated to mission critical power systems. Dave is adept at strategy creation, expense management and building mutually beneficial partnerships with customers.
Dave is responsible for executing the operational and business development strategies to achieve Rinzler’s key business objectives, as well as developing and managing Rinzler’s subject matter experts.
Dave is a member of NECA – National Electrical contractors association, NIEC – Nebraska, Iowa Electrical Council, and BOMA – Building Owner and Management Assoc.
Jamie Nikkel, Senior Electrical Field Technician
Jamie is responsible for customer field service repairs, testing, modifications, start-up, turn key projects and customer support. Jamie has extensive experience in business development, low-Voltage and medium-Voltage services and products, and the development of safety features. He has experience in back-up generation systems including pre-job commissioning, on-site start-up and yearly maintenance agreements. He’s been responsible for design and development of electrical technician training programs, electrical safety, commissioning, start-up, maintenance, sales aid standards and programs.
With his keen perception of electrical troubleshooting, engineering, strategic planning, electrical wiring, switchgear modifications & upgrade, NETA Compliance, and breaker and relay testing, Jamie is no stranger to the 24/7 demands of the critical power industry. Jamie has a Journeyman Wireman Award from the National Electrical Contractors Association and Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee and has a Certificate of completion of Apprenticeship from The United States Department of Labor.
Dale Obermiller, Project Manager Construction Services
With over 30 years of experience and knowledge in the construction industry with emphasis in civil, commercial, industrial and retail projects, Dale is an expert in communicating and negotiating construction issues with the project engineers, architects and owners. Additionally, he has extensive experience in scheduling projects and coordinating sub-contractors and supplier’s to meet schedules, deadlines and budgets.
At Rinzler, Dale is responsible for managing construction projects for clients including coordinating needs assessment and project status meetings and communicating with design teams to establish building design and specifications, as well as preparing bidding proposals, contracts and purchase orders with sub-contractors and suppliers. Dale also establishes construction schedules and prepares project close-out documents.
Dale’s expertise is built on a foundation of experience administering day-to-day management of the construction of retail office buildings, building remodels & additions and tenant finishes for projects up to 150,000 sq. ft., projects in the civil, wastewater and water treatment industry, including a $22 million expansion at the Missouri River Wastewater Treatment plant.
John Fuchs, Project Manager - Switchgear & Control Systems
With over 35 years of experience and knowledge in generator paralleling control systems, John is responsible for the design of switch gear and control systems, including coordinating needs assessment and project status meetings and communicating with internal teams to establish design and specifications.
John has a degree in Project Management and an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science – Electromechanical Technology.
Bob Morton, Design and Implementation Manager
Bob oversees projects and the project management team at Rinzler, including automation design, control system design, process creation and implementation, and electrical drafting.
Bob’s experience spans the commissioning of large critical power installations, switch gear audits and ATSs to technician training and switch gear applications and installations. Bob has a proven track record of growing revenue, reducing costs and achieving excellent service call closure rates.
Bob was recognized by the Vice Premier of China on a project to grow the country’s power distribution capabilities through the Sanhe Power Plant. Bob is a member of NECA and has utilizes his knowledge and skills as a Habitat for Humanity volunteer.
Ashley Stark, Office Manager
Having responsibility for directing and coordinating Rinzler’s administrative services, Ashley works with customers and Rinzler sales representatives with billing questions, sales and project tracking. With an eye to expense management, Ashley coordinates the collection and processing of invoices, as well as the expeditious management of service repair calls.
Ashley has extensive experience in customer relationship management in industrial service facilities. She is able to efficiently explain service requirements as well as communicate estimates and invoices. Ashley also has experience with equipment troubleshooting, equipment warranties, and maintaining accurate work order records. Ashley is active with her local Habitat for Humanity chapter as well as numerous charitable fun runs.
Greg Donahoe, Project Manager
With 26 years of expertise in the electrical contracting field with experience ranging from apprenticeships to management, Greg currently serves as Rinzler’s Project Manager. Greg is responsible for planning, coordinating, and documenting all aspects of multiple projects on a daily basis to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule in an effort to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Greg’s 28 year career with the United States Coast Guard and Coast Guard Reserves as Chief Petty Officer has provided ample experience for his current extra curricular role as an Electrical Instructor at a local trade school association. Additionally, Greg currently maintains a Journeyman Electrical Licenses in the States of Nebraska and Iowa. He is active in Habitat for Humanity and American Red Cross.
Greg has a Certificate of Completion in Electrical Apprenticeship from Associated Builders and Contractor Trade School in Omaha, NE.
John Larsen, AES Specialist
John has I’ve been a journeyman electrician for 23 years, and has a variety of mission critical expertise including the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems, perform maintenance and troubleshoot battery and flywheel UPS systems, testing and maintenance of UPS and generator battery systems, testing of protective relays, circuit breakers and generators.
Additionally, John has installation expertise with electrical conduits, cable trays, cables and bus duct, transformers, switch gear and high voltage cable. John works with the Rinzler team with installation of custom designed control systems.
John’s vast experience has taken him from the construction of sub-stations and power plants to a specialization in paralleling switchgear and generators.
Dave Wood, Sales Consultant
Dave is responsible for reviewing customer electrical distribution systems in order provide solutions and components based on the foundation of ANSI/NETA testing standards. Dave has extensive experience sales and service of critical power system components for electrical, industrial manufacturing and engineering firms.
Throughout his 34 years in the electrical systems business, Dave has gained a level of expertise in motor control troubleshooting, programmable logic controllers and electromechanical controls, substation maintenance, preventive maintenance, and switchgear maintenance.
Dave spends his off work hours serving on local planning and zoning committees, school boards, and as a fire and rescue EMT.
Nancy Ice, Electrical Designer/Drafter
With responsibility for creating all design drawings for Rinzler’s advanced electrical solutions projects, Nancy primarily maintains all AutoCAD blocks, equipment purchasing, quotes and submittals. Nancy has 22 years of experience in the switchgear industry as an electrical designer. Additionally, she has 5 years of experience as electrical designer for fire alarm and special hazard systems.
Nancy specializes in utilizing LISP routines and other AutoCAD applications and tools to streamline and reduce electrical design time; in fact she’s renowned for taking complex and critical projects and completing them under the estimated design time.
Nancy has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging to assist elderly with daily needs and companionship.
